Technical Support Representative   job# 0900549

A Technical Support Representative performs a variety of responsibilities including customer support, documenting FAQ's and procedures, and project work.

Essential Duties

  • Respond to customer phone and e-mail support requests in a timely, efficient and professional manner
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge on the features and business application of the company’s product line
  • Perform troubleshooting to identify causes and recommend remedies to user issues
  • Provide written and/or verbal instruction to users to correct problems
  • Perform quality assurance testing and record issues found
  • Write help files and user instructions for new application features
  • Research solutions to common user issues and create appropriate technical notes
  • Responsible for making decisions re closing/terminating accounts, refunding money & postage to customers, handling financial information, upgrading buying power of customers

SQL Server DBA (Developer)   job# 0900441

Endicia is seeking a Microsoft SQL Server Development Database Administrator in a software development role. This position will work closely with the Endicia Research and Development as well as Endicia Production Operations staff.

Essential Duties

Lead developer for database architecture, technologies and development methods for 24/7 eCommerce business:
  • Maintenance and development of OLTP, OLAP, data warehouse databases.
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating database schemas for all databases using a database modeling tool such as Sybase PowerDesigner.
  • Replication design and maintenance
  • Scripts database objects to comply with current standards
  • Leverages company version control tool for DB scripting
  • Configures and maintains development SQL Server and database settings
  • Enforces database standards
  • Design and documentation for database backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Advanced level database engineering support and assistance
  • Lead implementation of high priority changes

Your role will be to build and maintain infrastructure applications that support customer service, accounting, and field sales. You will work on web-based applications developed in ColdFusion, VB.net and C#/.Net that integrate into other systems including RightNow, SAP, Active Directory, Jira, Confluence, and SVN.
