Envelope Manager Software has a proven track-record as a technology leader in the desktop mail industry, dating back the 1980s. Our innovations include numerous industry-firsts in the areas of Internet Postage, Internet Services, Mail Management Software, and ease-of-use. We invented and patented technology for remote address verification, the personal postage system, and the virtual postage meter.

Envelope Manager Software has been developing electronic postage technology since 1991. Our Personal Postage System, invented in 1991 and awarded a patent in 1994, was the first prototype to be demonstrated to the USPS in 1991. Our Virtual Postage Meter, an Internet-based next generation postage system, was invented in 1997 and awarded a patent in 1999. These developments led to our Endicia Internet Postage service, which was introduced in 2000 and was the first service to offer Free Delivery Confirmation on Priority Mail. In 2001, Endicia also became the first Internet Postage service to offer instant signup, International Mail support, and Electronic Delivery Confirmation on all the Package Services.

Envelope Manager Software has also been a leader in remote address verification and correction solutions since 1989. Our Dial-A-Zip system, invented in 1989 and awarded a patent in 1994, was the first system to provide PC users with address verification capabilities using a modem. In 1996, our Internet Dial-A-Zip became the first system to provide address correction services over the Internet. The same technology led to our Internet Move Update service, which became the first system to provide address move correction over the Internet in 1998.

Envelope Manager Software's products demonstrate our commitment to providing the latest technology to mailers. Our DAZzle software, launched in 1992, was the first WYSIWYG mailpiece design tool in the industry. Our flagship Envelope Manager product became the first Windows based presort mail software in the industry in 1994. DAZzle Express and Microsoft Direct Mail Manager broke new ground for mailing software in 1997 by providing the first wizard-like interface in the industry.
