About Dial-A-ZIP Multiple Responses

When the Dial-A-ZIP process detects that a US domestic delivery address has multiple possible matching addresses (such as, the entered address is too vague for a unique match), DAZzle displays a list of all possible matching addresses. The window shows the entered address at the top and the list of possible matches in a list box at the bottom.

Because the US Postal Service database usually only tracks ranges of addresses, the list probably contains items that each show a range of street addresses. Select an item from the list, and DAZzle then updates your address to match. DAZzle uses the street number for the first item in the range.

Note: It is recommended that you REPEAT the lookup after selecting an item to ensure that the resulting address results in an exact match.
