Avoid Double-Entry - Just Weigh, Scan, and Go

Imagine: you place a package on your scale, scan an order bar code, and the shipping label is printed with just one click. No data entry, no cutting or pasting – just quick, easy, repeatable integrated shipping designed for professional fulfillment. You’ll save time and money, improve shipping accuracy, and have your database automatically updated with all your shipped package details. In short, you’ll enjoy the same streamlined operation for your postal shipments as with private carrier software.

When you scan or enter an order or invoice number, Endicia Professional retrieves the shipping address from your database or delimited file and automatically verifies the address. Just place a package on your scale, choose a mail class, and print. Now you’re ready for the next order. International shipments are easy too. When printing the label, you’ll be prompted for customs information, letting you print an integrated shipping label with the customs information pre-filled.

Database Integration also posts back the shipment data to your database, including the postage amount, weight, mail class, tracking number, and postmark date. The post-back can be done automatically or controlled by you in an end-of-day process.

Database Integration uses Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) to interface with databases and text (delimited) files. ODBC drivers are available for almost every type of database, including Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and FileMaker. It’s also compatible with many e-Commerce systems, including Response, Retail Pro, Make-a-Store, and Mail Order Manager (MOM).
