USPS Insured Mail

Retail Insurance From The Post Office

USPS Insured Mail If you prefer to insure your packages with USPS insurance, you can select this option while printing your labels* with DYMO Endicia. Just declare the value and DYMO Endicia will calculate the USPS insurance premium and add it to your printed postage. **

With DYMO Endicia's change in 2011 to using an IMpb on your packages, you no longer need to fill out the USPS 3813 form and present your USPS Insured Packages at the retail counter at your Post Office. The presence of the IMpb tracking number and a valid service type code replace using the additional, retail-oriented form.

Sending something Express Mail? All shipments via Express Mail automatically include USPS Insurance Coverage for $100. This also doesn't require any additional forms or waiting in line - just make sure you use the Express Mail label software layout in your DYMO Endicia Software.

* Stealth postage is not available with USPS Insurance.
** USPS Insurance is not available for First-Class Mail International.
