USPS® Price Change
On November 4th, the U.S. Postal Service® announced that prices will change for competitive products on
January 4th, 2010. While most prices are increasing, customers using Endicia and other Internet Postage
providers will continue to save money compared to retail prices.
Online costs will be, on average, 5% less than retail for Express Mail® and 5.7% less for
Priority Mail® services. Online savings for international shipping will be 8% less than retail for Express Mail International® and 5% less for
Priority Mail International.
Other innovations include:
• New Priority Mail cubic volume-based pricing for Commercial Plus customers
• A new Priority Mail Flat Rate padded envelope for Commercial Plus customers
• The Priority Mail Large Flat Rate Box shipped to APO/FPO/DPO addresses still priced $2.00 below the retail price
• The Commercial Plus Express Mail Flat Rate Envelope price remaining at $14.96.
Remember that prices for First-Class Mail®, Standard Mail®, Parcel Post® and other Mailing Services products will not change.
