Insurance Claims Page

All Endicia Parcel Insurance claims are handled by Universal Parcel Insurance Coverage (U-PIC). Claims Forms Instructions

Print a claim form with your transaction information:

  1. Log on to your Account on Endicia.com or from within DAZzle, click on the Postage Menu Option, then click on “Account on Endicia.com”.
  2. Click on Tools and choose “File An Insurance Claim”. Follow the instructions for printing out a claim form.
  3. Staple to the claim form the following pieces of information:
    1. A copy of the original invoice to the consignee or eBay end of auction as proof of value.
    2. A signed letter from the consignee stating the following:
      1. Date the package was mailed.
      2. Invoice or auction number.
      3. Description of shipment, (i.e. 4 Pier 1 wine glasses).
      4. If loss, state parcel never received, if damage, state description of damage and if repairable.
      5. Signature and date.
  4. For LOST parcels you must wait 21 days for domestic and 45 days for International. Lost claims for shipments sent to Italy require a 60 day wait before filing. Damage claims can be filed immediately.
  5. Claims must be filed no later than 90 days from the shipment date.
  6. Freight charges are only recoverable if the freight value is declared in the insured value. If claim is for damage, you are required to hold onto the damaged property until the claim has reached a resolution. Failure to do so will result in denial of the claim.
