How do I print international postage and customs forms using DAZzle?

International layouts are now integrated. This means the shipping and customs information is on the one label.

The following steps describe how to print an international label using DAZzle Design tab.

Steps

  1. From DAZzle Design tab, select File > Open Layout:
    1. For a thermal printer or laser or ink jet printer, select the International Label Small 6x4.lyt layout.
    2. For a laser or ink jet printer, select the International Label - Large.lyt layout.
  2. Select Layout > Main Address.
  3. Enter an international address.
Important! The last line of the address must only contain the country name. The country spelling must match the country name that the US Postal Service uses.
  4. Click OK.
  5. (Optional) Click the Postage Options button to add any extra services.
Note: DAZzle does not verify USPS country restrictions for optional services such as USPS Insurance, Return Receipt, Restricted Delivery, Registered Mail, and so on. To add these services, you should first verify with the USPS that the service is offered for the country that you are mailing to. You must obtain the USPS form for that service at the Post Office, complete the form, and attach the form to your package or letter for mailing.
  6. Click Print.
  7. From the Print dialog box, on the Postage tab complete the following:
    1. In the Type field, select the package type.
    2. In the Class field, select the international mail class.
    3. In the Weight field, select the weight.
    4. (Optional) In the Dimension fields, enter the dimensions.
    5. (Optional) In the Ship Date field, select the Ship Date.
Note: The default Ship Date is Today, but you can select a Ship Date # days in advance. When changing the Ship Date to a future date remember if you need to create a refund request, electronic refunds must be requested within 10 days from the date the label is printed.
    6. (Optional) Add Insurance:
    7. In the Insurance field, select the insurance provider.
    8. In the Value field, enter the insurance value.
Note: If you are using Stealth postage, USPS Insurance is not available. Instead, select Endicia Parcel Insurance or add USPS insurance at the Post Office.
  8. (Optional) Enter a Package Description.
  9. (Optional) Enter a Group Code.
  10. (Optional) Enter a Reference Number.
Note: The information entered into the Package Description, Reference Number and Group Code fields will not be printed on the label unless the field is linked to a Rubber Stamp. This information is only available in your Postage Log and is not available in your online reports.
