CASS Certification

Software is CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) certified by the US Postal Service for accurate ZIP+4 coding and address standardization. All mailings claimed at any of the automation-based rates (ZIP+4 or ZIP+4 Barcoded) must be produced from address lists that have been ZIP+4 coded by CASS-certified software.

You can contact Envelope Manager Software at: www.EnvelopeManager.com or 1-800-576-3279. Envelope Manager Software sells software that is CASS-certified, including DAZzle Express and Envelope Manager.

Postal regulations require you to submit US Postal Service Form 3553 with each mailing claimed at an automation-based rate to demonstrate that you have used CASS-certified software. The Form 3553 shows, among other things, the number of addresses in your list file and the number of addresses that have a valid ZIP+4.

Because numerous postal regulations that determine the eligibility of your mailing for the automation-based rates, we strongly encourage you to work with your postal representative to make sure that your mailing meets all requirements.
