Install DAZzle in Act! Version 3.0

You can customize Act! to include a button on the toolbar to launch DAZzle and display a menu of choices for using DAZzle with Act!.

Steps

1. In Act!, select Tools > Customize.
2. Select the Commands tab.
3. Click New .
4. In the Command Name field, enter DAZzle.
5. In the Command Line field, enter the complete path to your DAZZLE.EXE file, then a space, a minus sign, and the word act.

   Example: c:\dazzle\dazzle.exe -act

6. In the Start In field, enter the directory path where you run DAZZLE.EXE.

   Example: c:\dazzle

7. In the Description field, enter Launch DAZzle for Act!.
8. For button or tooltip text, enter DAZzle.
9. For menu text, enter &DAZzle.
10. Verify that Run is set to Normal.
11. Click Save.
12. Select the Toolbar tab.
13. Near the upper part of the window, under the toolbar, select Contact Window.
14. Near the lower part of the window, under Command, select DAZzle.
15. In the middle of the window, scroll sideways until you see the position where you want to put a button for DAZzle.
16. Click the button currently in that position.
17. Click the Insert button.
18. Click Save .
19. To add the DAZzle button to another toolbar, repeat steps 13-18, but select a different window.
20. Click Close.
