About the Design Menus

The menus that are available from the Design tab include File, Edit, Insert, Layout, and Help.

File Menu

• New Layout: Create a new mailpiece design.
• Open Layout: Open an existing mailpiece layout.
• Save Layout: Save the current layout settings.
• Save Layout As: Save the current layout settings to a new file.
• Print: Print a mailpiece for a selected address.
• Print from: Prints with addresses from another source.
• Printer Setup: View current printer settings.
• Default Printers: Specify default printers for sheet and label printing.
• Print Preview: Preview how the mailpiece appears.
• Preferences: Set your preferences for using DAZzle.
• Exit: Exit DAZzle.
• The lower part of the File menu shows recently opened layouts. You can select one from this list to open the layout.

Edit Menu

• Undo: Undo the last command.
• Cut: Cut the selected text and place it in Clipboard.
• Copy Address: Copy the address to the Clipboard.
• Copy Barcode: Copy the barcode to the Clipboard.
• Paste Address: Paste Clipboard text into delivery address.
• Paste from: Copy the current address from a configured contact manager product.
• Send to Back: Move selected item behind others.
• Bring to Front: Bring selected item in front of others.

Insert Menu

• Graphic: Add an image to your envelope, label, or flyer layout.
• Rubber Stamp: Add a message to your envelope or label.
• Text Box: Add a multi-line message to your mailpiece.

Layout Menu

• Dial-A-ZIP: Verify the US domestic delivery address using Dial-A-ZIP.
• Dial-A-ZIP from: Run Dial-A-ZIP on a US domestic delivery address list from another source.
• Delivery Address: Enter or edit the delivery address options.
• Return Address: Enter or edit the return address options.
• Media: Select the medium for your mailpiece.
• Barcode: Select the postal barcode options.

Postage Menu

• Buy Postage: Buy Postage for your Postage Account.
• Buy Supplies: Buy Supplies at Endicia.
• Account Setup: Run the Postage Setup wizard.
• Change Pass Phrase: Change the Pass Phrase for your Postage Account.
• Options: Access the Postage Options dialog box.
• Account on endicia.com: Open a secure web page at Endicia with links for your account.
• Refund Request: Opens a secure web page at Endicia to request postage refunds.

Application Menu

• Envelope Manager: Switch to Envelope Manager, if installed.
• DAZzle Express: Switch to DAZzle Express, if installed.
• Postage Sheets/Rolls: Switch to either DYMO Printable Postage or DYMO Stamps, if installed.
