Using USPS Special Services

The USPS offers, and DAZzle supports, many special services that provide the sender with options such as a record of mailing, delivery information, insurance, and restricted delivery.

These services generally require a fee. When you are printing postage through DAZzle, DAZzle can add these fees to the postage amount printed. DAZzle also tracks any additional information for the different services. For example, Insured Mail requires a requested insurance value.

  3. The Postage Printing Options dialog box displays tabs for special services:

For complete and up-to-date details of all US Postal Service special services, you must consult with a postal representative or refer to the USPS Domestic Mail Manual (DMM), which is available online at http://pe.usps.gov.
