Weigh a Mailpiece

If you have an electronic weight scale connected to your computer, DAZzle can automatically enter the mailpiece weight and calculate the postage. Weight scales usually connect through the serial port or the USB port on your computer.

Steps

Place your mailpiece (with all enclosures) onto the scale.
In either location, click the Weigh button:
- The Print dialog box, by selecting File > Print from either the Design tab or the Address Book tab.
- The Rate tab of the Postage Options dialog box, by selecting Postage > Options from either the Design tab or the Address Book tab.

DAZzle inserts the weight of your piece.

If your scale is connected and DAZzle does not recognize it, contact Technical Support for assistance.
