Back Up or Restore the Postage Log
Endicia Professional retains your Postage Log entries for a specified time period that you can adjust.
- Note: The Postage Log shows transactions for all profiles. That is, the Postage Log backup and restore actions are not profile specific.
Depending on the volume of shipments that you process, your Postage Log may consume a lot of memory and storage space. You can:
Back Up Your Postage Log
Steps
- Select Edit > Preferences.
- Select the Other Options tab.
- In the Postage Log Settings area, click the Backup & Restore button.
- Click Backup.
- Note the location and file name—or (optionally) change the location or file name of the backup—and click Save.
Restore Your Postage Log
- Important! The following procedure overwrites all entries in the current Postage Log! If you have not done so already, you may want to create a backup before restoring your Postage Log.
Steps
- Select Edit > Preferences.
- Select the Other Options tab.
- In the Postage Log Settings area, click the Backup & Restore button.
- Click Restore.
- Confirm that you want to restore your Postage Log.
- Select the backup file that you want to restore.
- Click Open.
