Import Addresses into the Address Book

You can import a list of addresses that are in CSV (comma separated values) format file into your Endicia Professional Address Book. The CSV file must be in a specific format with the fields in the header record in a specific order.

Steps

1. From the Address Book tab, click the Manage button.
2. Click the Import button. An example that shows the required fields with sample data appears.
   • Tip! If you need an example of a CSV format file, click Save Template File, select the folder and click Done.
3. Click Select Source File.
4. Navigate to and select the CSV file that you are importing.
5. Click Open.
6. Select either:

   • Import into a new address book:

     This option creates a new Address Book and inserts all data in your CSV file.

     Enter a name for the new Address Book.

   • Import into a existing address book:

     This option appends the data in your CSV file to the addresses in the selected Address Book.

     Select the Address Book from the list.

7. Click Import.
