About Address Verification and Lookup

Both US domestic and international address verification is available.

About US Domestic Address Verification

US domestic address verification can look up the ZIP+4 and correct most common addressing errors for any address in the USA. Dial-A-ZIP can verify your address against the USPS list of all addresses in the USA in less than one second. This process also verifies an address, which is required, before you can print postage for your mailpiece.

As soon as Endicia Professional reads a domestic shipping address from your data source, Endicia Professional attempts to verify the address against the USPS database. If the verification process result is less than a perfect match, Endicia Professional alerts you with a message.

When you see this or a similar message, it is recommended that you verify the address before shipping. This may involve contacting the recipient or using the USPS website to verify the address. Although the USPS database is accurate, it is not always up to date, and it can take several months for new streets to be included. You can edit the address, and then click the Verify Address button to re-verify the address.

DAZzle prints postage for any address that can be verified at the city, state, and ZIP Code level. At your own risk, you can print labels with postage and ship-to addresses that have not been completely verified.

DAZzle prints labels without postage for addresses that cannot be verified at the minimum level. Therefore, it is recommended to review each label to verify that the postage barcode (indicium) is present before mailing the package.
