Endicia Pay-on-Use-Returns (EPR) shipping labels provide your customer with a return shipping label for which you pay the postage and fees only when the EPR shipping label enters the mailstream. Upon entering the mailstream:
The USPS scans the EPR return shipping label.
The system automatically deducts the amount from your postage balance.
By using EPR shipping labels, you can potentially:
Create a positive experience for your customers by providing them with printed, ready-to-use, "paid-for" return shipping labels.
Save you money if your customer never uses the EPR shipping label.
About Activating Your Account for Pay-on-Use-Returns Labels
After you have printed an outbound shipping label through DAZzle, you can create an EPR shipping label, such as when your customer requests to return an item.
On the Postage Log, right-click the outbound shipment entry and select Create Pay-on-Use-Returns Label.
DAZzle automatically switches the original mailing and delivery addresses and populates the mail class and weight from the outbound shipment label. You can change any of the values.
DAZzle creates the EPR return label, which you can send by email or regular mail to the customer.
After you have printed the outbound shipping label through any carrier, you can manually create the EPR shipping label.
You manually create a label in the same way that you would manually create an outbound label: Enter the mailing and delivery addresses, weight, and mail class.
DAZzle creates the EPR return label, which you can send by email or regular mail to the customer.
