When you select the Collect on Delivery option, the COD fee is automatically added to your postage. You must also specify the total amount to collect.
Steps
From either the Design tab or the Address Book tab, select File > Print.
In the Print dialog box, click the Postage Options button.
From either the Design tab or the Address Book tab, select Postage > Options.
In the Postage Printing Options dialog box, select the Collect on Delivery (COD) tab.
Select the Use collect on delivery (COD) check box.
Enter the amount to be collected.
Click OK.
Note: The COD mailing label that you print automatically includes the COD fee. You must complete USPS Form 3816 and present present your COD mail and Form 3816 to a retail employee at a Post Office or to a rural mail carrier.
