Print Domestic Labels Using DYMO LabelWriter 4XL Printer

How do I print domestic labels using a DYMO 4 x 6 label with a DYMO LabelWriter 4XL printer?

The following steps describe how to print a domestic label from DAZzle Design tab.


  1. From DAZzle Design tab, select File > Open Layout.
  2. For all domestic mail except Express Mail, select DYMO4XL Label.lyt
  3. For domestic Priority Mail Express (formerly Express Mail), select DYMO4XL Express Mail Shipping Label.lyt
  4. Click Open.
  5. Select File > Printer Setup and use the following settings:
    • Printer: DYMO LabelWriter 4XL
    • Printer paper size: 1744907 4 inches x 6 inches
    • Select the Save printer information with layout check box.
    • Orientation:
      • Portrait
      • Face Up
      • Top First
      • Center
      • Print Upside down (rotate 180 degrees is not selected)
  6. Click OK.
  7. Select File > Printer Setup.
  8. Click Test Print.
  9. If the label prints correctly, click OK.
  10. Select File > Save Layout.
  11. Select Layout > Main Address.
  12. Enter a Ship To (delivery) address.
  13. Click OK.
  14. Select Postage > Options.
    1. In the Type field, select the package type.
    2. In the Class field, select the international mail class.
    3. In the Weight field, select the weight.
    4. (Optional) In the Dimension fields, enter the dimensions.
    5. Click OK.
  15. Click Print.
  16. In the Extra Services field, select a service (optional).
  17. In the Insurance field, select the required insurance provider (optional).

    Note: USPS insurance is not available when Stealth Postage is selected.

  18. (Optional) In the Value field, enter the insurance value.
  19. (Optional) In the Package Description field, enter a description.
  20. (Optional) In the Reference Number field, enter a reference number.
  21. (Optional) In the Group Code field, enter a code.

    Note: The information entered into the Package Description, Reference Number, and Group Code fields will not be printed on the label unless linked a Rubber Stamp to the field. This information is only available through your Postage Log and is not available in your online reports.

  22. Click Print.
