Specify Contact for Hold For Pickup Mailpieces

The Hold For Pickup service directs mailpieces to a Post Office that is local to the recipient. When you use the Hold For Pickup service, you must specify how the USPS should notify the recipient that their mailpiece has arrived. The USPS can notify recipients through email or a phone number that can receive text messages (SMS).

DAZzle automatically enters the recipient's local Post Office pickup location.

Steps

From the Design tab, select File > Open Layout.
Select the Hold for Pickup Label.lytlayout.
- Note: The Hold for Pickup Label.lyt layout works with all mail classes. You no longer need to use a separate layout for Priority Mail Express.
Click Open.
Enter the recipient's physical delivery address.
Select Postage > Options.
Select the Hold for Pickup tab.
Enter either the Recipient's Email address or the Recipient's SMS (text-enabled phone) number.
Select the Rates tab.
Enter or select the Type, Class, Weight, and other Options.
Click OK.
