About Sending Tracking Numbers to eBay—Standard Accounts

If you are an eBay seller, you can automatically send tracking number information to your eBay account. Tracking numbers that you can send to eBay include USPS Tracking, Signature Confirmation, Priority Mail Express, and international mailpieces.

You can send tracking numbers to eBay through:

The Quick Label tab: Select the Send tracking number to eBay check box.
The Design tab: When you print from the Print dialog box, select the Send tracking number to eBay check box.
The Postage Log tab: If you had forgotten to send the tracking number when you printed the label, right-click the postage item and select Send tracking number to eBay from the shortcut menu. Alternately, select the postage item and select Actions > Send Tracking Number to eBay.

About Authorizing DAZzle with eBay

Before you can send tracking information from DAZzle to eBay, you must first authorize eBay to receive tracking information. You can authorize eBay to receive tracking information by selecting File > Preferences > PIMs (tab). In the eBay Seller area, click the Authorize application with eBay button. Follow the prompts that redirect you to the eBay website.

About Matching Printed Labels with Items Sold on eBay

To match labels printed with sold eBay items, DAZzle uses the following methods:

For domestic mail, DAZzle matches the first two numbers of the street address and the first three numbers of the ZIP Code.
For international mail, DAZzle matches the first two numbers of the street address and the country name.

About Matching Problems

Matching problems may occur due to:

Multiple matches
No matches

If DAZzle cannot match the printed label the sold eBay item, you will get a message to supply eBay the Item ID, which you can find in the email confirmation that eBay sent you when the item was sold.

About Revalidating your eBay Consent Agreement

Occasionally, eBay may require you to revalidate your eBay Consent Agreement because:

The Consent Agreement may have expired.
You may have revoked the Consent Agreement.
eBay may have revoked the Consent Agreement, such as for a security issue.
