Connect to an ODBC Data Source

This topic describes how to specify an ODBC data source for use with Endicia Professional.

The first time you run Endicia Professional, the Database Connections Setup wizard starts automatically.

If you have not already created your ODBC data source, then you should exit the Database Connections Setup wizard and create your ODBC data source name.

Afterward, you can manually start the Data Connections Setup wizard.

Note: The setup or changes that you make in the following Steps apply only to the current profile.

Steps

Select the option Select an ODBC data source.
Select your DSN from the list.
If required, enter your user name and password.
Click Next.
Click OK to finish the wizard.

The Order Lookup Data Map window displays your data source name.

After you have set up the database connection, you must connect (map) the fields between Endicia Professional and your data source.
