Add Static Text Using a Rubber Stamp

Rubber Stamps can contain static text messages that you can use on your layouts. Examples of Rubber Stamp static text include First-Class Mail or Do Not Bend or Air Mail or Happy Birthday!.

Steps

  1. From the Design tab, select Insert > Rubber Stamp.
  2. In the Display Message field, enter the text for the rubber stamp.

You can also select from the list of previously created rubber stamps.

  3. Select the font, font style, size, effects, and color for the Rubber Stamp by clicking the Fonts button.
  4. After entering the text, click OK.
  5. On your layout, click the location where you would like to place the Rubber Stamp text.

Your text messages are automatically saved in a file called STAMPS.DAT in your DAZzle directory. This file is a plain text (ASCII) file that you can edit with any text editor (for example, Microsoft Windows Notepad) to add, edit, or remove items from the list.
