About Linking Additional Fields Using Rubber Stamps

If you use DAZzle Professional, you can access additional fields for use with Rubber Stamps. These fields appear before the 100 Link to reference field entries. The expanded list includes Delivery Address, ZIP Code, Phone Number, Email, Transaction ID, USPS Tracking Number, Shipping Date, Piece Weight, Postage, Package Value, Package Description, Reference ID, Group Code, Mail Class, and Customs ID.

By using this feature, these items can print more than one time on a layout. For example, you can use a two-part label and print the USPS Tracking number on each part of the label. You could also print the USPS Tracking number three or four times by putting more than one Rubber Stamp on the layout.

You can also use Rubber Stamps on a multiple-part layout to print shipping records, invoices, or receipts at the same time that you print your shipping labels.

Remember, Rubber Stamps place all the text on one line so when linking to the address, the entire address prints on one line.

In addition to static text or a database field, DAZzle can also print serialized number Rubber Stamps. Serial number Rubber Stamps are numbers that are printed and change with each label or envelope. You can set the starting point and amount of change for the serial number. You can use serialized number Rubber Stamps to generate invoice numbers or receipt numbers, for example. You can also embed the serial number within other text.
