About the Backup/Restore Command

From the Postage Log tab, you can run backup and restore commands of Postage Log data by selecting File > Backup/Restore.

For backups, the file created is a .ZIP file in a compressed format. The default name is epostage.zip. Optionally, you can specify an alternate directory and filename. If you later select the restore option, this is the file that DAZzle looks for.

Note: Items that appear on the Postage Log tab are local log items. For more information, see About Log Files.

Important! When you perform the restore command, ALL items currently on the Postage Log tab are replaced. Use the restore command ONLY when your current Postage Log file is damaged or is no longer needed.
