Archive Postage Log Transactions

The archive option moves all of the transactions within a date range to another file. You can specify the dates in this range. The default filename is epostage-MM-DD-YYYY.log, where MM-DD-YYYY is the current date. Optionally, you can specify an alternate directory and filename.

Note: Items that appear on the Postage Log tab are local log items. For more information, see About Log Files.

Steps

From the Postage Log tab, select File > Archive.
In the Archive Postage Log Items dialog box, enter a starting date and an ending date.
Click the Archive button.

The Select Archive dialog box appears.
Optional: Navigate to and select the folder in which to save your archive file.
Optional: edit the filename.
Click Save.
