About the Page Setup Tab

The current printer appears in the Printer area.

To verify or change any of the current printer options, click the Printer Setup button.

If you are printing on sheet labels or continuous feed labels, you can select the first label for DAZzle to print on. Select the row and column of the first label to print (the upper left label is column 1, row 1). DAZzle always prints across the row and then down the page.

You can select the number of copies of each address to print (from 1 to 999). When printing more than one address, each address is repeated as many times as selected in the copies box.

You can print the current layout as a mechanical artwork—also known as camera-ready—by selecting the Print as Mechanical Artwork check box only when printing a single address—not a list.

A mechanical artwork is the layout printed on a sheet of paper with crop marks that indicate the edges (corners) of the mailpiece and center of each side. DAZzle also prints information about the layout—filename, size, date and time—and DAZzle version, owner, and serial number.

You can use the mechanical artwork to create a master image of your mailpiece for high volume printing or as a means to verify your layout before printing on an envelope or label. For more information, see Print a Mechanical Artwork.
