If you have a layout that is a non-standard size, you can base your new layout on the Envelope, Label, or Flyer layouts. This allows for customization of characteristics, such as size and margins. When you create a new layout, such as a flyer, the new layout becomes a new permanent part of the list, but you can still select from other layouts.
Note: It is recommended that when you require custom layouts that you create new layouts—which the following steps describe for creating a new flyer—rather than modify existing ones.
Steps
From the Design tab, select Layout > Media.
In the Media dialog box, select Flyer.
From the list that is to the right of the selected media, select the flyer that matches the flyer you want to create or click the New button.
In the Flyer Settings dialog box, enter a unique name to identify your new flyer.
In the Dimensions area, enter Height and Width values in inches.
In the Margins area, enter Top, Left, Right, and Bottom values in inches.
