Start the Data Connections Wizard for the Order Lookup Data Map

If you are retrieving order information on the Order Lookup tab (not the Batch Print tab) and need to set up a new data connection, you should run the Data Connections Setup Wizard for the Order Lookup Data Map.

Steps

  1. If you are using more than one profile, select the profile first from the Active Profile field on either the Order Lookup tab or the Batch Print tab.
  2. From the Order Lookup tab, select Edit > Preferences.
  3. Select the Data Source and Post-Back tab.
  4. In the Source Data area, in the Order Lookup field, your data source type.

    Choices include Database or CSV/Text File and QuickBooks (Desktop). If you are using QuickBooks, see Set Up QuickBooks for Use with Endicia Professional.

  5. If you selected Database or CSV/Text File, click the Configure button.

    The Order Lookup Data Map window appears.

  6. In the Data Source area, click the New button.

    The Create New Data Source wizard starts.

  7. Click Next and follow the prompts.

After you have started the Data Connections wizard, you can do one of the following:
